About Us
At the Wild Angels Ranch, we believe that all life is sacred and that our animals are entitled to a full and happy life. We feed only the top quality grains and hay from Alaska.
Description:
Welcome to the Wild Angels Ranch website. We appreciate you stopping by to check us out. We know how important it is to know where your food/eggs/milk come from. We are a small, family owned farm specializing in producing high quality meat (chicken, turkey, beef, pork, goat), milk shares (both goat & cow), dairy products and eggs. All livestock is fed non-gmo grains and local hay. All poultry- including laying hens, meat roosters and turkey are fed organic feed. Does our meat, eggs, milk cost more than you can buy at the grocery store? You bet. Because it is worth more. We assume our customers want the same high quality products to feed their families that we use to feed ours.
While here- we expect that the following 'rules of the ranch' will be adhered to:
1. First & foremost this is OUR home. When you first arrive you will notice a plethora of free ranging animals. This is THEIR home. No, the geese & ducks will not move because you are in the driveway/parking area. Please do not honk at them or harass them. One of us will certainly assist in convincing them to get out of harms way.
2. Any children at the Ranch must be beside their parents at all times. If you have small children, you need to hold their hands. We have no public restrooms and do not make exceptions. The closest place to potty is the 3 Bears when you turn onto Pittman. Please stop there with your kidlets before you arrive. You might be embarrassed when 'little billy' stands in the driveway, pulls his pants down and starts peeing...but believe me it's not cute, and it is a biohazard. We will provide you with products so you can clean up after 'little Billy' and then he will need to get back into your vehicle for the remainder of your visit.
3. If you have your own livestock/farm/poultry, I'm sure you understand about bio-security. The germs on your feet will be carried to our farm and that puts everything here at risk. If you have a farm, please wear your 'town' shoes here or confine your visit to the parking area. If you don't have a farm, but have visited another farm in the shoes you have on, the same applies to you.
4. NO ONE is allowed to climb/sit/stand on the livestock panels/fencing.
5. NO body parts in the animals mouths. Yes, the goats are adorable and yes, they will suck your fingers. Let's just use common sense with this one.
6. You may not wander around the farm without one of us supervising you and walking along with you.
7. <sigh> Please don't pet the puppy;-) He is learning how to be a working dog and is cute as they come, so it's hard to resist.
8. Keep a very close eye on what your kids are doing while they are here. If they pick up a rock/stick/etc. and attempt to throw or hit or chase ANYTHING, your family will be asked to leave. No 2nd chances.
9. In this digital age EVERYONE has a camera. If you would like to take pictures of our property, animals, kids etc. ASK first. We have put all the pictures of our family/property on the internet, that we want there. Our first priority is the safety ,security & sanctity of our home/family/farm. Before you are tempted to snap a pic, ask yourself how you would feel if we showed up at your house and started taking pictures of your things.
10. Be extra careful while you are here. Especially when inclement weather makes getting around treacherous.
We are hoping that your visit is as enjoyable as possible. Adhering to the Rules of the Ranch, go a long way towards a positive outcome. Looking forward to meeting you!
